All Bar-Sto Pistol barrels are machined from solid stainless steel bar stock which has been heat treated to 180,000 PSI tensile strength. Barrels are machined, bored, and rifled completely in our own shop. Accuracy is excellent even when compared to target grade barrels. All barrels have a rate of twist of 1 turn in 16". Bar-Sto Precision does not do trigger work. All 38 Super and 9mm barrels have conventional chamber with standard leads.

Semi-drop in barrels generally do not require fitting and will provide a tighter fit than the factory barrel. Accuracy resulting in 1 3/4" to 2" max at 25 yards using match grade ammo. Most of our semi drop in barrels will drop-in without fitting. But due to the close tolerance that we hold, some barrels may require minor modification. Fitted barrels exterior dimension are oversized and must be fit to your gun by a gunsmith and will provide the tightest fit possible. Accuracy resulting in 1 1/2" or better at 25 yards using match grade ammo.
